Satellite server imaging server not starting

Situation

Linux or Windows based Satellite server behind a slow WAN link

Error message in zmd-messages.log (taken from a Danish language ZCM 11.1 Windows Satellite).

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.2 - see KB 7010757 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7010757

Cause

The ZCM satellite imaging server role is hard-coded to 120ms ping timeout. If the ping request from the Satellite server to the parent Primary Server does not get answered within 120ms, the Satellite server imaging server does not start.
