Environment

Novell GroupWise 8
Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch 2

Situation

There are multiple mail messages in the In-Box with the same subject line that need to be
exported to RTF files, example of a subject line:
Re: Off-site meeting agenda

1) Ctrl-Select those all items with the subject line 'Re: Off-site meeting agenda'. 2) Right click and select Save As. 3) In the Items to Save window, make sure to select all messages are selected. 4) Select Save, the first item will be created as: 'Re: Off-site meeting agenda.RTF' 6) Then a prompt will appear 'File already exists. Replace? Yes or No? 7) Selecting Yes, will replace the first message with the second, and so on. 8) Selecting No, will not prompt for another file name and will not save the second item.

Resolution

Submitted to engineering.

Additional Information

Expected behavior is GroupWise client would auto-name the multiple messages
with a (#) append to the <subject line> since it is very common for a mail
thread to have the same subject line.
