Applies to: Portability Suite 8+, Migrate 9+ and Protect 10+
Situation
During the installation of a product you may get the following error message:
"Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS2001: Source file 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\xxxxxx.cs' could not be found error CS2008: No inputs specified."
Resolution
In order to resolve the issue the following steps are recommended:
1) On PlateSpin Server, open Windows Explorer and list contents of "C:\Windows" folder.
2) Right-click on the Temp folder and select Sharing and Security.
3) Under Security tab, ddd the following local users with Read, Write and Modify access:
- NETWORK SERVICE
- ASPNET
- IIS_WPG
4) Restart IIS and retry the installation.
