VSS error events logged on source machines with IBM Tivoli Backup during migration

When trying to migrate or protect a server with IBM Tivoli Backup you may run into VSS errors.


1. Apply the following to resolve this issue:
2. Ensure that storage area space for volume shadow copy is set to unlimited. This can be checked in the properties of a volume (under Shadow Copies > Settings).
