Situation
Users attempting to login to Novell Messenger get a AD0B
error
Users attempting to login to Novell Messenger with a blank eDirectory password.
Error seen in Messaging Agent log: "Login failed [0xAD0B]:<user_name> - invalid credentials supplied to LDAP"

Solutions/Additional Troubleshooting Steps:
- Change the eDirectory password.
- Make sure that the correct LDAP server IP is being used with the /ldapipaddr switch in the startup.ma (Messaging Agent startup file).
- Add, or rearrange the LDAP servers into the /ldapipaddr switch, this is by adding "" and a space in between each IP, i.e."151.155.241.135 151.155.241.132".
- If using SSL, try using none SSL or connecting on port 389 first.
- Create a brand new user and see if they can login.

/direuserauthbind - Indicates that you want users to authenticate to eDirectory by using a bind rather then a compare operation.
/diruserforcedirect - Indicates that you want users to use direct access to eDirectory even though you have configured the Messaging Agent to use LDAP access. Requires eDirectory replica on local machine.

Windows: Startup file is located in the Messenger Agent installation directory chosen during installation.
NetWare: Startup file is located in the Messenger Agent installation directory chosen during installation.
