Z-Icon disappears

Situation

Randomly, the zicon disappears from Windows tray.
 
ERROR (in user temp zenicon.log)  
 
Unhandled exception

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workaround:

  1. Start Task Manager
  2. Click the Processes tab
  3. Select ZenNotifyIcon.exe process and click End Process
  4. Launch %ZENWORKS_HOME%\bin\ZenNotifyIcon.exe
