Situation

ReferenceError: MsRdpClient is not defined

Error accessing the https://ipaddress/rpdrelay/index.htm page


Resolution

The 'MsRdpClient is not defined' error message is seen when attempting to access an RDP relay session via the https://ipaddress/rdprelay/index.htm page with a browser other than Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer MUST be used to connect to the RPD relay page as an ActiveX component is used to make the Remote Desktop connection.

Login to https://ipaddress/rdprelay/index.htm with Internet Explorer (IE).
