Situation
ZRS installation fails

This is fixed in version 10.3.2 - see KB 7007237 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Additional Information
Within this Tid situation the directory was manually created, the directory "D:\Program Files
(x86)" and assign it a shortname. Once that was completed then ZRS was able to install successfully.
The Policy setting of Disabling 8.3 Name creation (i.eHKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation = 1 )
meant that the ZCM install program was unable to set the shortname at install time.

The problem is due to the space in the path name ('Program Files' folder), using the short name ensures that there is no space in the path. And that is why it works fine using the short directory name. Till now, the ZRS install makes an assumption that the short name is available for the install folder and tries to get it, and the install fails to complete if it is not available.
