Situation

Password with English Pound sign (£) does not store in credential store

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3 - see KB 7005455 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP3 (10.3) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at Novell Support

STEPS TO REPRODUCE :
 
give user a password like qwe123!@#£
  1. login in connected state
  2. logoff
  3. disconnect network cable
  4. login with same credentials
  5. login fails
