Situation

User tries to login in GroupWise, no error message, client asks for password again.

From the POA log file:

From the /opt/novell/groupwise/agents/lib/nldap/ directory the following files/links are not available or missing

libldapsdk.so -> libldapsdk.so.0.0.0*
libldapsdk.so.0.0.0*
libldapssl.so -> libldapssl.so.0.0.0*
libldapssl.so.0.0.0*
libldapx.so -> libldapx.so.0.0.0*
libldapx.so.0.0.0*

Resolution

When damaged, delete the above files/links and re-install the GroupWise agents:

rpm -Uhv novell-groupwise-agents-8.0.2-xxxxx.i586.rpm --force

(in which xxxxx stands for the build number)
