Situation

Rule for Sent Items does not work for all mails
Items sent from the device do not get moved to a different folder as set by the rule
Rules for Sent Items does not work for mails sent from device
Sent Items does not get moved to a different folder as per the rule
GroupWise mail rule does not work with DataSync
 

Resolution

Update to the latest support pack for GroupWise and Mobility. Latest builds for GroupWise and Mobility can be found at https://download.novell.com/patch/finder
 

Additional Information

Steps To Duplicate:
  1. Login as a user using GroupWise Client.
  2. Click Tools | Rules and create a rule to move New Sent Items to a different folder.
  3. Save and activate the rule.
  4. Send a new test email and the Sent Item gets moved to a different folder.
  5. Sent a new test email from the Device using Data Sync and the mail will not get moved to a different folder as per the rule.
