How to make sure that the POA Return notification for messages are in an other language
How to change the language of the POA Return Notification
Resolution
Return Notifications set in Tools | Options | Environment | Send | Mail | Return notification will not be in English if the following conditions are met
- Post Office Agent is started using the correct language. To start the Post Office Agent in the language that is needed, please follow the steps listed below:
- Make sure to download and install the multilingual build of the Post Office Agent. Multilinguage build of GroupWise can be downloaded from https://download.novell.com/patch/finder
- Set the correct language in the Post Office Object Properties | Language field.
- Edit the startup file for the POA normally in /opt/novell/groupwise/agents/share/ directory and use the --language switch for the correct language. Example --language FR. This needs to be done because there is a bug in POA where it is not picking up the language from the database (wphost.db ).
- The recipient of the mail is using the same language of Client as set in the Post Office.
