Situation

One user unable to send emails/appointments from the device

Resolution

Please make sure that the user's quota has not exceeded. Follow the steps listed below
  1. Login as the user in GroupWise Client.
  2. Click Tools | Check Mailbox Size and check the Current mailbox size: and Maximum storage limit:
  3. If the quota has exceeded, please increase the Quota of the user by following the steps in the following link OR delete some mails from the user's mailbox to reduce the mailbox size.

  4. After increasing  the quota or reducing the size of the mailbox, restart GroupWise POA and Data Sync services (rcdatasync restart )
  5. Send a new mail from the device and it should work fine now.

    All the mails that were sent earlier from the device will also go through.

    An enhancement has been reported to Engineering so that some kind of notification is sent on the device that lets the user know that the mailbox size has exceeded its quota.

If the above is set properly and it still does not work, please remove the user account from Mobility Server and add the user again
