Why does Cluster configuration browse button return an empty window?

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 3

Situation

When selecting the "Browse" button (see below), a blank window is presented with no objects.
 
 

Resolution

This is working as currently designed.

Additional Information

When the "browse" button is selected, an LDAP query is performed against the configured LDAP server(s).  This query performs a search:
  • beginning at the top of the tree
  • with the scope of sub-tree
  • searching for all "objectClass=NCS:NetWare Cluster"
If there are no cluster objects in the tree, a blank result set will be returned.
 
A request has been submitted to enable tree walking, similar to many of the other "browse" buttons within OES configuration.
