All day appointments from device displays differently on the GW client

Novell Data Synchronizer Connector for Mobility
Novell Data Synchronizer Connector for GroupWise
Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack Update 3

Situation

All day appointment created from the devices Does not reflect as "All day" appointment in the GroupWise Client.

Resolution

This issue has been reported to engineering, however the following steps can be followed as a workaround:
 

Workaround 1:

  1. Create an appointment in GroupWise
  2. Edit the appointment on device to make it all day.
  3. Wait until it synchronizes with GroupWise
  4. Appointment is displayed as all-day on the device and GroupWise Windows client

Workaround 2:

  1. Create an appointment on the device
  2. Edit the appointment on the device to make it all day.
  3. Wait until the appointment synchronizes with GroupWise
  4. Appointment is displayed as from 12AM to 12AM on the device
  5. Edit the appointment in GroupWise to make it all day
  6. Appointment is now displayed as all-day on iPhone and GroupWise Windows client.

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:
  1. Create an appointment on the device.
  2. Edit the appointment on the device to make it all day.
  3. Wait until it synchronizes with GroupWise
  4. Appointment is displayed as from 12AM to 12AM on the device and in the GroupWise client calendar(instead of all-day)
