GroupWise 8.02 Client - Error returned when clicking on message during a find of online data while in cache mode

Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 2

Situation

While using the GroupWise 8.02, 8.02HP1, or 8.02HP2 client for Windows in cache mode, doing a find of the Online mailbox for a message that is in both returns an error when trying to open the Online version.  The error is "The selected item does not exist in your caching mailbox" even if the message is clearly there.

Resolution

Currently there is no workaround.  If you want to do a search of your online mailbox, you need to switch to the online mailbox.  This has been reported to engineering
