Situation
The LDAPAuth gina does not echo the username into the windows login like the Novell Client for Windows does.
If the directory and Windows user names are not the same, users are prompted to logon to Windows after logging into the directory through the NSL LDAP GINA

Resolution
Install NSL7.0.1 HF5 or later, and create a registry DWORD
UseCNasWindowsUser
in HKLM\Software\Novell\Login\LDAP
Set this to 1
The "username" will then be used as the "nt-username." The ldapauth gina username will not show in the Windows login window, but it will be used for the Windows login.
