Situation

Blue screen on Windows XP when accessing Novell OES2 NSS volumes on Linux.

Resolution

Disable NDS Protocol component setting. (Red N > Novell Client Properties > Protocol Preferences tab > Protocol component settings > deselect the "NDS" option.)

Additional Information

Disabling the NDS name resolution provider will not affect explicit eDirectory resolves being requested through Novell specific eDirectory APIs, or Windows file system paths which start with an eDirectory tree name.
