Situation
After installing the Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7, there is no data for Size* or Version registered in the Control Panel | Programs Uninstall window for the Novell Client.
Resolution
The issue has been reported to engineering. To workaround the issue, using REGEDIT**, create a new string value of DisplayVersion for the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Novell Client for Windows
The value for the key should be as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Novell Client for Windows

* Due to the various install options for the the Novell Client 2, providing the installed size data is beyond the scope of this article.
** Use the following instructions to populate the registry key if you are unfamiliar with REGEDIT:
1) From the Run line, type regedit and press enter
2) Browse to and expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Novell Client for
Windows key
3) Highlight the Novell Client for Windows key
4) In the right pane, right click the mouse and select New | String Value
5) In the place of New Value #1, enter DisplayVersion and press Enter
6) Double click on the newly created key and enter the appropriate version from the table above into the "Value data:" field and click
OK
7) Close REGEDIT
