Environment

Novell Client for Windows 2000/XP/2003 4.91 SP5

RDP Sessions (Remote Desktop Protocol)

Novell Client configured in Passive Mode (PassiveModeNDSLogin)

Situation

RDP From one machine with the Novell Client to another machine with the Novell Client. The pass through authentication will fail and a prompt for a Novell Client is shown.

Resolution

Workaround:


Keep the Novell Client installed in traditional mode and not passive mode.
