Authenticating to Access Manager results in an error

The following error was shown on the browser:
The maximum number of allowable sessions has been reached. (300101051-C613EEC6E60121E4)
Customer was not aware of any session limits for that user on the back-end userstore.


On the IDP the option to Limit user sessions was set to 1.
This option is under the General Configuration page of the IDP.
Increasing the number or disabling the user session limit resolved the issue.
