Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3 ZENworks Control Center - ZCC

Situation

Unable to add additional secure connections in user source ZCC --> Configuration --> User Sources -> Connections
ERROR: Unable to create the user source object.
Non SSL connection servers can be added to the Connections list.
LDAP browser can connect to the server without error via SSL 636.

Resolution

Validate and fix expired certificates on all connections servicing LDAP User Source

Additional Information

While adding additional connection servers in ZCC, ZCM looks and validates the other connections certificates, if the cert is expired or missing, the server with fail to add.
