Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7 Login
Situation
When presented with the log in screen the font size can be too small for some users to read.
Resolution
To increase the size of the text and the icons on the login screen do the following:
1- Edit the registry key for:
HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\Fonts\LogPixels
Set it to a value between 60 and 90.
The registry value creates a font and icon scaling percentage 60=100%, 78=125%, and 90=150%.
2- Restart the computer.
The login screen should now be scaled to have larger fonts.
3- Login, if the size of the desktop and the other items has been effected then do the following:
a- Right click on the desktop and select Personalize.
b- In the left pane select Display.
c- Select the Smaller - 100% (default) option or another option as is required.
d- Select the Apply button.
e- When prompted select the Log off now button.
The login prompt text should now be scaled to a larger size and when logged in the desktop should be scaled appropriately.
