Installation of ZCM Agent does not stop ZLM agent

Situation

Installation of Satellite server:
  # ./PreAgentPkg_AgentLinuxComplete.bin
doesn't stop existing ZLM7 Agent. It detects it and removes rpms while the agent is running:
  # ps x | grep zmd

  2063  ?  SNsl 15:40   0:01 zmd /usr/lib/zmd/zmd.exe

  2101  ?  Ss   15:40   0:00 /usr/lib/zmd/zen-event-watcher

Installation process runs well and after server reboot ZLM agent disappears.

Resolution

Workaround
Stop the agent manually before starting the ZCM 11 agent install:
  # /etc/init.d/novell-zmd stop
