Situation
ZENworks icons on the desktop do not always stay where they are put; after logout/login they may be in a different location on the desktop
Resolution
This is a limitation of Windows; Microsoft does not support trying to position icons on the desktop, and that trying to position an Icon on the Desktop does not assure that the same position will be maintained.
Possible Workaround:
NOTE: This isn't guaranteed to work, but it has helped in some cases.
Add the following registry key to the affected workstations:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=hex(3):00,00,00,00

Additional Information
ZENworks does save the icon position on logout, and attempts to re-position the icon in the same place after login, but the position cannot be guaranteed, and Microsoft does not provide an alternative way to achieve this.
