Situation

Launching Infoview (ZCC > Reports ) when using ZCC on a server that is not the ZRS server.

Infoview does not launch

ERROR (in ZCC) "An error occurred when trying to launch the ZENworks Reporting Java InfoView.
For more details, see the ZCC log. "

ERROR (from zcc.log)

com.novell.zenworks.reports.exception.ReportException: com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKException$OCAFramework: Communication error occurred when trying to connect to server

Resolution

For ZENworks 11: A fix for this issue is included in ZENworks 11, see KB 7006995 "ZENworks 11 - information and updates" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

For ZCM 10.3: This was not resolved before the end of General Support, so remains an issue
