Can't set LDAP base for Active Directory user source

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

when setting up AD user source if one tries to set the base DN an error is returned.

ERROR (from zcc.log):

15 Jul 2010 14:59:02 Class.......
com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.InvalidRootContextException
15 Jul 2010 14:59:02 Message..... dc=test,dc=local

ERROR (shown on ZCC):

Could not authenticate to the user source. The root context entered during step one was not valid.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3.2 - see KB 7007237 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
