Situation

Error 8804 is shown when mapping a drive using %HOME_DIRECTORY in a login script
 
The following error is seen when using the home directory attribute:
Unable to map <drive name>:=/Drive Path:<home directory>/
(code:8804)

Resolution

The issue has been resolved in a kernel update for SLE 11 SP1. The released kernel version is 2.6.32.29-0.3.1.
