Installing AIX patch for IDM Linux/Unix Bi-directional driver does not update the driver

Situation

After installing the latest AIX patch, the build on the driver still shows the original version.

Resolution

To make sure you are looking at the right version, run

/etc/rc.d/init.d/nxdrvd status

at the server.

If it still shows the old version then uninstall the driver from the server and reinstall it. Please back up any custom scripts before the uninstall. The reinstall at that point will overwrite them in some cases.
