Situation
The ZLM agent is not able to install YOU patches. The zmd-messages.log shows errors like:Novell.Zenworks.Zmd.BUNDLES_INSTALLED: Novell.Zenworks.Zmd.BUNDLES_INSTALLED
And the log /var/log/YaST2/kernel-update-tool.log shows errors like:/var/lib/YaST2/you/scripts/install-kernel-non-interactive.sh: line 22: /usr/sbin/kernel-update-tool: No such file or directory
Resolution
This is caused because kernel updates require manual user intervention (disclaimer). In order to overcome this ensure that the rpm 'kernel-update-tool ' package is installed in the machine. This package will allow the ZLM agent to bypass this manual intervention and install the patch accordingly.
