VMware View Composer 2.5
VCenter 4.1

Situation

VMware View Composer 2.5 server running on Windows 2008R2 fails to be added to View Manager 4.5 in a DSfW domain.

Resolution

The workarounds are to:
  1. Install View Composer 2.5 on x86_64 Windows 2003 (latest SP)
  2. Upgrade from View 4.0 to View 4.5 with View Composer configuration completed in the View 4.0 environment
