Trailing space on folder or file names not seen after data migration from NW to OES Linux

Situation

The data migration was completed with OES Migration Tools.  Several source server files and directories had a "space" as the last character. On the target - the "space" at the end of the file name or  directory was removed.


Resolution

The long name space does not support spaces at the end of the file name. 

This issue has been determined to be problem with creating files on the source volume in the Unix name space, which supports spaces at the end of the file name, and then viewing the migrated files on the target volume with long name space.  

Any spaces at the end of file and directory names can be seen if the target volume name space is changed from Long to Unix.
