"Long Machine Type" variable on Windows 7

Environment

Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows Vista

Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows Server 2008
Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7
Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2

Situation

IF "%MACHINE"= login script statements always returns "IBM_PC" on workstations running the Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows.

Resolution

The ability to set the "Long Machine Type" variable is not present in the Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows.

If and when this functionality is added, it will be released in a future version of the Client.
