Some Address Books do not sync to the device

Configuration:
Address books that do not sync are shared to others

Situation

Some Address Books do not sync to the device
Address Books that are shared to other does not sync to the Device
Sharer's Shared Address Books does not sync to the Device

Resolution

Shared Address Book is not supported if the user is not the owner of the Shared Address Book. However, if the user is the owner of the Shared Address Book, then it is supported and should sync to the Device.
 
However, in certain cases it has been seen that due to some issue, Sharee syncs the Shared Address Book and since Sharee has already synced the Shared Address Book, Sharer is unable to sync the Shared Address Book to the Device.
 
Please follow the steps listed below to identify which Sharee has synced the Shared Address Book and de-select the Shared Address Book from that user's list to sync
  1. Identify all the users to whom the Address Book is shared with. (Identify the sharees)
  2. Launch Web Admin by going to https://IPAddressOfMobilityServer:8120
  3. Login to Web Admin.
  4. Click Mobility Connector. By default it is named mobility.
  5. Switch to the Monitor tab.
  6. Click the users one at a time that were identified in Step 1.
  7. Search for the name of the Shared Address Book and check Pending Items and Synced Items.
  8. Make sure that Pending Items or Synced Items is 0. if it is not 0, that is the user, who synced the Shared Address Book before the owner could sync.
  9. Switch to the main page of Web Admin by Clicking Home once the user has been identified.
  10. Click GroupWise Connector. By default it is named groupwise.
  11. Switch to the User tab.
  12. Search for the user that was identified in Step 8 and under Actions, click on Edit User icon for that user.
  13. De-select the Shared Address Book and click Save.
  14. Click Close Window.
  15. Search for the owner of the Address Book and de-select the Address Books that were shared to others and click Save.
  16. Click Close Window.
  17. Wait for 5 minutes.
  18. Search for the owner of the Address Book and select the Address Books that were shared to others and click Save.
  19. Click Close Window.
