SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 3

Situation

iPrint migration from NetWare 6.5SP8 to SLES10SP3 OES2SP2 fails with the following error :-

ERROR - IPRINT:/opt/novell/bin/iprintmig:Error(100): XMLToDoCIMInstance::doWork(): CIMException encountered (general error): Creation of printer 'CN=printer_agent_name,ou=organizationalunit_name' object failed, LDAP Error: No such object

Resolution

Workaround :-

Rename target OU name such that it does not contain spaces.
