NSL7 support for Windows 2008 R2 Server requires both Citrix and NSL patches

Situation

Single sign on fails for Citrix published applications on Windows 2008 R2
SSO to published app does not work with XenApp6
SecureLogin (specifically SLWTS) will not stay loaded on Citrix server on Win 2008 R2



Resolution

Install NSL7SP2 HF1

**** NOTE****
R2 support for NSL also requires the following patch from Citrix:
Citrix private hotfix patch XA600W2K8R2X64041  OR
Citrix private hotfix patch XA600W2K8R2X64051. 

It is our understanding that Citrix Hotfix XA600W2K8R2X64041 has been superseded by XA600W2K8R2X64051.

Additional Information

Complete support  for SecureLogin on Windows 2008 R2 requires NSL7SP2 HF1.
Prior to NSL7SP2 HF1 there were some features of SecureLogin that did not work and were not supported on Windows 2008 R2. 

NSL features added for R2 support with NSL7SP2:
Novell Enhanced Smart Card Method (NESCM)
Client Login Extension (CLE) with forgotten password link in Novell Client mode.
