Situation
In iManager, when trying to access the Cache Hierarchy Server/Client config pages an error is reported:
- In IE7 the page is just blank - In FireFox the error is "The timer value cannot exceed 1 hour".
No configuration is possible after the error.
Resolution
There is a wrong value on the config.xml file and it has to be changed manually. Follow this procedure:
Back up the current configuration of the proxy services with following steps:
1. Go to iManager
2. Select BorderManager
3. Select Proxy Services
4. Select the Border Manager server object
5. Click the OK button
6. On the Server Configuration screen, at the bottom click the Backup button
7. Save the config.xml file
Open the saved config.xml file and find the following line:
1. Go to iManager
2. Select BorderManager
3. Select Proxy Services
4. Select the Border Manager server object
5. Click the Restore Link
6. Click the Browse button, than select the edited config.xml file
7. Click the Restore button
8. Wait till the message: Configuration Restore Successfully is displayed
9. Click OK
10. Select the Border Manager server object
11. Click OK
12. On the Server Configuration screen, at the bottom click the Apply Changes button.
Now error is gone and configuration will be possible.

3. Select Proxy Services
4. Select the Border Manager server object
5. Click the OK button
6. On the Server Configuration screen, at the bottom click the Backup button
7. Save the config.xml file
Open the saved config.xml file and find the following line:
"NeighborTimeout=xx"Save the file, and restore with the following steps:
Change the value to "1"
1. Go to iManager
2. Select BorderManager
3. Select Proxy Services
4. Select the Border Manager server object
5. Click the Restore Link
6. Click the Browse button, than select the edited config.xml file
7. Click the Restore button
8. Wait till the message: Configuration Restore Successfully is displayed
9. Click OK
10. Select the Border Manager server object
11. Click OK
12. On the Server Configuration screen, at the bottom click the Apply Changes button.
Now error is gone and configuration will be possible.
