Windows 7 file copy to OES2 via CIFS will run slowly or abort

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux
CIFS
Windows 7

Situation

When copying a large file from Windows 7, after a few MB, it will fail with the message

There is a problem accessing <filename>


Resolution

Reported to Engineering.   Fix available through Novell Support.  Targeted to be released in the OES2 SP2 updates channel.
