Environment

Novell Teaming 2
Novell Vibe OnPrem 3
Novell GroupWise 8

Situation

You wanted to enable a Teaming integration in a GroupWise system. The client settings for the Teaming integration for desired users was enabled and configured. GroupWise users can login in the Teaming account and they see a folder tree structure being populated in their GroupWise mailbox. However, when you click on any of Teaming folders, a content is not displayed. You get error "Page cannot be displayed".
When taking a trace between the GroupWise client and the Teaming server (when using insecure connection), you will see that at the beginning the client is aware of a Teaming URL port but at the moment when you want to retrieve a Teaming folder content, the client does not use the port specified in C1.

Resolution

It is very important to configure Teaming server based upon your present network infrastructure. If you use an L4 switch in front of the Teaming server, then the HTTP / HTTPS ports need to be set at 80 / 443 and the listen ports at 8080/8443.
If there is no L4 switch present, then the HTTP / HTTPS ports alike listen ports need to be set at 8080/8443.
Shall you see a difference in your configuration (installer.xml file located in a folder you run the Teaming installation), please, rerun the install script and correct the port settings accordingly.
