Situation

Error 'Failed to create mount point directory' while migrating GroupWise from NetWare 5.x server to SuSE Linux Enterprise Server using GroupWise Migration utility.

Resolution

IPX enabled on NetWare server causes this error while migration. To disable IPX on NetWar follow the below mentioned steps:
  1. Launch inetcfg on NetWare server console.
  2. Select Protocols.
  3. Select IPX.
  4. Disable IPX protocol.
  5. Reboot NetWare server.
