Situation

The "Did you forget your password?" link allows users to authenticate via Challenge Response and reset the password. Is the password reset designed to reset the local/domain password, as well as the eDir password?

Resolution

No, it is in fact an "eDirectory forgotten password" only. No attempt is made to syncronize or change the Windows password at the same time, although the user will be offered that opportunity during their next login attempt.
