Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 2

Situation

Unable to create A record with host name of "*" (asterisk) using DNS/DHCP Management Console
Error:  "Host Name must be entered "

Resolution

Fixed in OES2 SP2 September Maintenance.

Additional Information

Works correctly with the lastest iManager plugin and the DNS/DHCP Management Console from OES2 SP1.
