Firefox will not launch if the profile is stored on a Novell volume

Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows Vista (IR1)
Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows Server 2008 (IR1)
Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows 7 (IR1)
Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2 (IR1)
Microsoft Windows 2008 R2
Microsoft Windows 2008
Microsoft Windows 7
Microsoft Windows Vista

Situation

Firefox will not open and will not produce an error. After switching to a local profile everything works as expected.

Resolution

Fixed in Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows (IR4) or later.

Additional Information

Duplication Steps:
1. Launch Firefox.exe -profilemanager
2. Create a new profle
 -- Choose a empty folder located on a Novell volume
3. Uncheck the "Don't ask at startup" item
4. Launch Firefox.exe
5. You will prompted for the Profile you want to use
6. Select the profile located on the Novell volume
Notice that Firefox doesn't launch
Now, repeat step 4 - 6, but this time select the profile located on the local
drive (probably, "default")
Notice the Firefox launches normally
