Situation

Intermittently, a drive mapping to a location on a Novell volume disconnects and becomes inaccessible.

The problem only affects mappings to an Open Enterprise Server 2 server. Drive mappings to OES 1 servers continue to function properly.

The only way to resolve the problem is to reboot the workstation.

Resolution

Fixes included in Novell Client 2 SP2 for Windows have resolved this problem.
