ZCM Roaming Profiles are disabled when logging into a Domain using Vista or Greater.

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3

Situation

On a Windows Vista or Windows 7 device, ZCM will ignore Roaming Profile Policies if a Domain Login occurs.
 
The ZENNOTIFY log will contain an entry similar to the following:
ZenNotify : 07/29/2010 - 12:10:58] The Windows login that is in progress is a Domain account login.  Roaming profile processing will be skipped.

Resolution

This is a limitation due to Windows Vista/7 inability to support Roaming Profiles and 3rd Party Credential Providers such as Novell Client32 or CASA during a Domain Login.
