Novell GroupWise 8
Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 1
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003/2008

Situation

GroupWise Monitor running on Windows shows agents status as Normal instead of Not Listening even though the agents are not running due to power failure on the server

Resolution

Upgrade GroupWise agents as well as GroupWise Monitor to GroupWise 8 Support Pack 1 Hot Patch 1 or later

Additional Information

Both GroupWise Monitor and GroupWise agents need to be upgraded to GroupWise 801 HP1 or later for Monitor to show correct status for the agents.
