GroupWise snmp monitoring on 64-bit Linux is not working

Environment

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2 (x86_64)
Novell GroupWise 8 Support Pack 1
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 1 (x86_64)

Situation

SNMP configured on SLES10 (x86_64) server per Novell Documentation
SNMP monitoring is enabled
MTA and POA show SNMP enabled
SNMP software does not receive GroupWise SNMP packets

Additional Information

This applies only to running GroupWise on a 64-bit Linux platform. It has currently not been verified on a 64-bit Windows server. Please refer to TID 3035461 if dealing with a 32-bit platform.

libgwsnmp.so is a 32-bit plug-in. The 64-bit SNMP daemon will not load a 32-bit plugin.
