Situation
- A Windows 7 image is restored to a system with no image safe data.
- The network card is configured for automatic DHCP and DNS.
- On first boot, DNS works correctly, the ZCM agent is installed.
- Upon subsequent boot up, DNS no longer works.
Resolution
Either remove or enter the correct "DNS suffix" in ZCC under Configuration > Device Management > Preboot Services > Non Registered Device Settings
Another solution would be to clear the image safe data on the workstation after the image restore.

The "DNS Suffix" setting for Preboot Services was configured with the incorrect suffix.
