Novell GroupWise 8
Situation
The location of the WebAccess Application configuration file (webacc.cfg) has changed in GroupWise 8.
Netware:
Old Location - sys:\novell\webaccess
New Location - sys:\novell\groupwise\webaccess
Linux:
Old Location - /opt/novell/groupwise/webaccess
New Location - /var/opt/novell/groupwise/webaccess
Windows:
Old Location - c:\novell\webaccess
New Location - c:\novell\groupwise\webaccess
Resolution
If the settings in the existing webacc.cfg file in the old location have been manually modified, those same manual changes must be made to the webacc.cfg file in the new location. Differences between the old file and the new file are not merged into the new file by the GroupWise Installation program.
The WebPublisher Application configuration file (webpub.cfg) has also been moved to a parallel new location and customizations to that file must be transferred manually.
