Error 1310. Error writing to file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Novell\CASA\bin\launcher.exe.  System error 0.  Verify that you have access to that directory.

Resolution

Removed the entry for launcher.exe from the Application Blocking Policy in ZENworks Endpoint Security Management and the System Update was able to run successfully.

Cause

The entry for launcher.exe in ZENworks Endpoint Security Management Application Blocking Policy was not allowing launcher.exe to be modified, this would cause the upgrade to fail.
